Hello, I am back to share again.. how long it is? I found it's too long since my last post.. *kidding
Okay, As I told at my first post, I am an English Literature Writing Class Student in SWCU, right. it isn't really bad at this time because 'til now, I can pass it well. This class has 4 students including me for my Angkatan. Angkatan is a term like school level which is senior and junior and I am in Angkatan 2012 that also senior level (the first Angkatan) in the program. My English Literature has long story. Let me to tell it that maybe, it will take more space here and boring. English Literature in my university was in STIBA (graduate with 'D3' degree) not in SWCU at the first time. Now, it moved to SWCU (graduate with 'S1' degree) but i think it still exist in STIBA. I am in SWCU's English Literature, so that why my Angkatan is the first Angkatan as i said before. For my Angkatan (2012), my teachers always say that our program won't let us to graduate without producing something. so they give us so many assign. to increase our creativity all the time, started from the pictures, we have to interpret it to become a story. it's very enjoyable, right.
Right now, I thinking about my topic for my graphic novel assign. Graphic novel is like manga in america version. am I wrong? here, I learn to be a comic. At the beginning of this class, I had assign to read "Maus" ( a comic about Holocaust history) and i really like its story. It makes me easy to understand the history in pleasant way. then, I learn to create my own comic version based on its history and a real Indonesia issue. but I have to develop my skill in drawing expression faces of characters. I cannot tell its easy but also not too difficult because i can find from internet for reference but it still isn't simple if i am not good in drawing. I give you photos about some expression which sometimes appeared in manga that showed how my drawing look like and you can see whether i am good or not in delineating a comic as my closing in this post because i have to continue my another activity. I only have those because I sometimes forget to take a picture my another work. Don't judge me ruthlessly because I'm an amateur in this. but I certain thank to all my blog visitor for your free time with variety responses to read my random posting. and as I said before, I just wanna to share what is in my head. No other purpose.
